Dr Patricia Lowe

Dr Patricia Lowe is a highly qualified and dedicated Consultant Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care in both public and private settings in Sydney. As a Clinical Associate Professor, she is actively involved in tertiary medical education, teaching and mentoring the next generation of Medical Students and Dermatology Registrars. Dr Lowe is deeply committed to achieving the best possible clinical outcomes for her patients, combining her extensive clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Dr Lowe completed her medical degree with Honours at a leading university in 1988, before undertaking her internship and residency. She went on to earn a Master of Medicine in 1994, completing a research thesis focused on angiogenesis in psoriasis. In 1998, she became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Her professional contributions also include serving as the Honorary Secretary and on the Board of Directors for the Australasian College of Dermatologists, as well as acting as a state Director of Training.

Throughout her career, Dr Lowe has developed a diverse range of clinical interests within the field of Dermatology. She specialises in general dermatology, with a particular focus on advanced biological therapies for psoriasis and targeted dermatological care for solid organ transplant recipients. Additionally, she provides expert care in cosmetic dermatology and the management of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Her dedication to clinical research and evidence-based medicine ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of modern dermatological care.
