Dr Prakash Damodaran

Dr Damodaran is a Neurosurgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). They are also a member of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia (NSA). Dr Damodaran has a strong interest in academic medicine and research, and has numerous neurosurgical publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Dr Damodaran completed a Complex Spine Fellowship at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. Their neurosurgical training was undertaken across major tertiary hospitals in New South Wales, Western Australia and Victoria.

Dr Damodaran has considerable surgical experience in procedures involving the cranium (skull, tumours, masses) and the spinal column, including the neck (cervical spine) and back (thoracic and lumbar spine).

Dr Damodaran has undertaken academic research in the management of the highly malignant primary brain tumour (glioblastoma multiforme) and is widely published on a range of topics relating to spinal and cranial surgery.
