Dr Nicholas Martin

Dr Nicholas Martin is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He approaches medicine with the belief that patients should be treated as whole individuals rather than a collection of isolated symptoms. By fostering collaborative relationships built on mutual trust, active listening, and deep understanding, Dr Martin works closely with his patients to help them achieve their optimal health and well-being.

Dr Martin completed his formal medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2014, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc). He went on to achieve his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019. He maintains active professional membership with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, ensuring his clinical practice remains aligned with the highest standards of modern medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr Martin has gained diverse clinical experience across various healthcare settings, including general practice, sexual health, Indigenous health, and refugee health. He welcomes patients of all backgrounds and ages, offering a broad range of general practice services. He has developed particular clinical interests in LGBTQIA+ health, gender-diverse and gender-affirming healthcare, and sexual health, including PrEP prescribing. Additionally, he is a licensed s100 Prescriber for HIV medications and provides supportive care in areas such as palliative care, paediatric and adolescent health, skin cancer medicine, and Health At Every Size (HAES) affirming healthcare, including support for eating disorders and body image concerns.
