Dr Nicholas Maartens

Dr Maartens is a Neurosurgeon. They are a specialist endoscopic skull base and pituitary surgeon. Dr Maartens is also a general neurosurgeon, specialising in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery and cranial microsurgery.

Dr Maartens graduated with MBChB from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. They then trained in general surgery at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School at Hammersmith Hospital in London, UK, and subsequently in neurosurgery at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, UK. Following this, Dr Maartens undertook a fellowship in Pituitary and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Virginia, USA.
