Dr Nicholas Fitzpatrick

Dr Nicholas Fitzpatrick is a highly qualified Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and Otolaryngologist who provides comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on gaining a deep understanding of each individual's unique concerns before delivering clear, evidence-based explanations of both surgical and non-surgical treatment pathways. As a dedicated Specialist, Dr Fitzpatrick is committed to tailoring medical decisions to the specific needs of his patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Fitzpatrick completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia, graduating in 2009. Following his initial medical education, he gained extensive clinical experience across Australia, working in major hospitals in Perth, Melbourne, and Darwin. He then undertook advanced surgical training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at prominent teaching hospitals in Melbourne. To further refine his expertise, Dr Fitzpatrick completed prestigious subspecialty fellowship training in Canada, focusing on paediatric ENT as well as advanced sinus and anterior skull base surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.

In his clinical practice, Dr Fitzpatrick has a strong interest in managing complex nasal, sinus, and paediatric conditions. His areas of expertise include endoscopic sinus surgery, the treatment of nasal polyps, and advanced sinonasal and skull base pathologies. For younger patients, he provides specialised care for common paediatric conditions, including the insertion of grommets and tonsil and adenoid surgery. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Fitzpatrick is actively involved in medical research and the education of future Surgical Trainees, holding public Consultant appointments where he contributes to teaching and clinical research.
