Dr Neel Roy

Dr Neel Roy is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a diverse clinical background spanning both domestic and international settings, Dr Roy is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families. His broad expertise allows him to address a wide range of medical needs, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and reassuring care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Dr Roy completed his primary medical training, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He subsequently undertook his specialist General Practice training in Northern New South Wales. Dr Roy is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. Additionally, he pursued advanced training in travel medicine, successfully obtaining his Certificate in Travel Medicine from the International Society of Travel Medicine in 2007.

Throughout his career, Dr Roy has developed a wealth of experience, including serving with the Australian Diplomatic Service. This role saw him living and working overseas in Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea, where he provided essential medical support, including at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta. His clinical interests are extensive, with a particular focus on travel medicine, travel vaccinations, and preventative health. He is also highly skilled in paediatrics, chronic disease management, and men's and women's health. Furthermore, Dr Roy is aligned with local antenatal shared care programmes, allowing him to support expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys.
