Dr Naomi Odorico

Dr Naomi Odorico is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She initially began her professional journey as a Research Scientist, driven by a deep curiosity for science and health. However, her desire to work directly with people and make a tangible difference in their lives led her to transition into clinical medicine. Prior to specialising in General Practice, Dr Odorico gained valuable clinical experience working as an Emergency Registrar, and also developed clinical skills in general medicine, cardiology, and endocrinology. She ultimately chose to focus on General Practice to offer personalised, preventative care and build long-term relationships with her patients.

Dr Odorico completed her undergraduate studies at James Cook University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland. To further her expertise and ensure the highest standards of primary care, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Odorico supports patients across all stages of life. She has developed a broad range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on chronic disease management, preventative medicine, and women's health. Her holistic approach to healthcare allows her to address complex medical needs, ranging from cardiovascular and respiratory health to mental wellbeing and minor surgical procedures. Dr Odorico is passionate about empowering her patients through education, helping them manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, and supporting them in achieving their personal health and wellness goals.
