Mr Naeem Samnakay

Mr Naeem Samnakay is a highly qualified Paediatric Surgeon and Paediatric Urologist who provides comprehensive surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of treatment for young patients and supporting their families throughout their surgical journey. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of paediatric surgical procedures, with a particular focus on addressing complex urological and general surgical conditions in children.

Mr Samnakay completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia, graduating with Honours in Medical School and a Master of Medical Science. He went on to achieve his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Paediatric Surgery. To further refine his expertise, he completed a prestigious Fellowship in Paediatric Urology at a world-renowned paediatric hospital in London. He is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Australia and New Zealand Association of Paediatric Surgeons, the European Society of Paediatric Urology, and the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Samnakay is deeply committed to medical education, research, and the advancement of paediatric surgery. He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor for the Division of Surgery at the University of Western Australia Medical School, where he is actively involved in teaching, supervising, and mentoring trainee surgeons and medical students. He also contributes to the profession as an Examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and has previously served on the college's Board of Paediatric Surgery.
