Dr Maurizio Pacilli

Dr Pacilli is a Paediatric Surgeon and Paediatrician/Children's Doctor. Dr Pacilli completed their medical degree in Italy at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2000.

Dr Pacilli has a keen interest in minimally invasive techniques for paediatric and neonatal surgery. They are also interested in colorectal surgery, including anorectal malformations and Hirschsprung disease. Dr Pacilli is particularly interested in vascular anomalies, such as haemangiomas and lymphatic malformations.

Dr Pacilli is passionate about clinical research, with a focus on minimally invasive surgery and randomised controlled trials. They have been awarded prizes for their research from prestigious institutions, including the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons, the Canadian Association of Paediatric Surgeons and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
