Dr Mitchell Krosch

Dr Mitchell Krosch is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, whole-person care to patients of all backgrounds. Dr Krosch completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science before earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Queensland's School of Medicine in 2016. Following his medical degree, he undertook extensive post-graduate medical training in regional Queensland, completing clinical rotations in various communities. During this period, he obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He has also achieved specialist recognition as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Krosch specialises in sexual and reproductive health, offering services such as cervical screening, contraception advice, and the insertion of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. He is an accredited S100 prescriber, enabling him to manage HIV care, alongside providing pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). His expertise also encompasses gender-affirming care, medical terminations of pregnancy, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment. Beyond reproductive health, Dr Krosch is highly skilled in managing chronic diseases, paediatric and adolescent health, men's and women's health, skin cancer surgery, and palliative care.
