Brisbane Youth Service

Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) in Fortitude Valley provides a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 12-25 who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. BYS offers a range of services, including:

• Accommodation: BYS provides short-term and long-term accommodation options for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
• Case management: BYS case managers work with young people to develop individualised support plans and connect them with the services they need.
• Counselling: BYS offers individual and group counselling to help young people deal with the challenges they are facing.
• Education and training: BYS provides education and training programs to help young people develop the skills they need to get a job and live independently.
• Health and wellbeing: BYS offers a range of health and wellbeing programs, including sexual health education, drug and alcohol support, and mental health support.

BYS is committed to providing a holistic and trauma-informed approach to supporting young people. BYS staff are trained in trauma-informed care and understand the impact that trauma can have on young people's lives. BYS works to create a safe and supportive environment where young people can feel empowered to heal and rebuild their lives.
