Dr Michelle Telfer

Dr Michelle Telfer is a compassionate General Practitioner who specialises in Paediatrics and Women's Health. Reassuring and highly skilled, she provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to children and families, ensuring that her young patients receive the highest standard of medical attention. Dr Telfer is passionate about supporting families through every stage of childhood development, offering a welcoming and supportive environment for parents and their children.

Dr Telfer commenced her medical journey by completing a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales. She then pursued postgraduate medical training, earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney, which included extensive clinical training at a regional clinical school. To further her expertise in primary care, she achieved fellowship status as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

In her clinical practice, Dr Telfer focuses on holistic family care, with a particular emphasis on antenatal care, women's health, and paediatric medicine. She is actively involved in medical education, sharing her wealth of knowledge by training Registrars and Medical Students. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr Telfer enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through netball, Pilates, gym sessions, and athletics, alongside reading and spending quality time with her family.
