Dr Michaela Zallmann

Dr Michaela Zallmann is a highly qualified Consultant Dermatologist who is dedicated to optimising skin health and providing patients with the highest standard of evidence-based care. She treats both adult and paediatric patients, offering a compassionate and reassuring approach to managing a wide range of dermatological conditions. Her clinical practice encompasses general, medical, surgical, and paediatric dermatology, ensuring that each patient receives a comprehensive and tailored treatment plan.

Dr Zallmann completed her Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience with Honours and her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at Monash University, qualifying in 2012. She undertook extensive specialist dermatology training across several major tertiary hospitals and dedicated skin health centres in Melbourne, as well as working within multidisciplinary melanoma clinics. During her training, she was awarded a prestigious scholarship to a world-renowned dermatology institute in London, where she completed a one-year fellowship alongside leading international experts. Dr Zallmann is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and serves as a Board Member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatologists.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Zallmann is deeply committed to academic research and the advancement of dermatological science. She has published numerous articles in prominent international peer-reviewed medical journals and regularly presents her findings at local and international scientific conferences. Her research contributions include serving as a sub-investigator in clinical trials focused on innovative treatments for conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, rosacea, acne, epidermolysis bullosa, and advanced skin cancers. This active involvement in research ensures she remains at the forefront of modern dermatological advancements.
