Dr Michael Carroll

Dr Michael Carroll is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout all stages of life. Dr Carroll enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine, offering a reassuring and professional approach to every consultation.

Dr Carroll completed his medical training at Melbourne University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1987. Following his initial clinical work, he gained diverse medical experience across Western Australia and South Australia before returning to Victoria. He completed a Diploma of Obstetrics in 1992 and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993. Additionally, he holds a qualification with the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Committed to the advancement of his profession, Dr Carroll has contributed to the training of future medical professionals as a General Practice Registrar Supervisor and has previously served as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Throughout his career, Dr Carroll has developed a wide range of clinical interests within General Practice. He is particularly skilled in performing minor surgical procedures and providing comprehensive antenatal care. His expertise also extends to travel medicine, including the administration of travel vaccinations such as the Yellow Fever vaccine, as well as Maritime Medicine. Outside of his clinical practice, he enjoys spending time with his family, pursuing sporting interests, and engaging in farming.
