Dr Melvin Chin

Dr Melvin Chin is a highly dedicated Medical Oncologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals navigating a cancer diagnosis. He specialises in the treatment of solid tumours, with a particular clinical focus on lung cancer, melanoma, skin cancer, and gastrointestinal malignancies, including colorectal cancer. Dr Chin is committed to delivering evidence-based, personalised treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care throughout their therapeutic journey.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Chin is an active Clinical Academic and Senior Lecturer, contributing significantly to the advancement of oncology through research and medical education. He is deeply involved in clinical trials, health services research, and implementation science, with a strong focus on improving healthcare delivery and safety for culturally and linguistically diverse patients. His research interests also encompass clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics, which help refine chemotherapy and targeted treatment protocols. Dr Chin completed his medical training with a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.
