Dr Siddharth Menon

Dr Siddharth Menon is a Medical Oncologist, who is based in Melbourne, Australia. He specialises in neuro-oncology, gastrointestinal and thoracic cancers, and also is involved in early phase clinical trials. With 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Menon is able to contribute to the treatment of a range of different cancers. He employs an evidence-based, patient-centred approach to cancer care, and values honesty and empathy in his work.

Dr Menon obtained his degree in Medicine in 2006 from Odessa State Medical University, Ukraine. He also completed a Master’s degree in Public Health and Health Promotion at Deakin University in 2010. He has undergone advanced training in medical oncology, and additionally completed a year as a Clinical Research Fellow where he studied stage-1 gastrointestinal cancer clinical trials. He became a Fellow of the Royal Austalasian College of Physicians in 2018.

Dr Menon is passionate about clinical research, and he is currently pursuing a PhD at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute, where he is researching new therapies for brain cancers and other aggressive forms of cancer. His research work allows him to remain up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge in his field, and this informs his practice and the treatments he offers his patients.
