Dr Melinda Griffiths

Dr Melinda Griffiths is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Having begun her healthcare career as a hospital Nurse, she developed a deep-seated passion for patient welfare and clinical excellence, which eventually led her to pursue a career in medicine. Dr Griffiths is committed to delivering personalised medical care that supports the health, dignity, and quality of life of her patients, ensuring that every individual receives the highest standard of attention and support.

Dr Griffiths completed her medical training at the Flinders University of South Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) in 1992. To further her expertise in specialised areas of medicine, she obtained a Diploma of Paediatrics. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice and continuing education in primary care.

Throughout her clinical career, Dr Griffiths has developed key clinical interests in women's health, paediatrics, family planning, and antenatal shared care. In addition to her clinical work, she has made significant contributions to the broader medical community. She has utilised her extensive expertise to review cases for the Medical Board of Australia and has worked as an accreditation Surveyor, helping to evaluate and improve quality standards across various general practices. Her diverse background as a Nurse, General Practitioner, and Surveyor allows her to approach patient care with a unique, well-rounded perspective.
