Dr Megan Lovesey

Dr Megan Lovesey is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. With a reassuring and non-judgemental approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Dr Lovesey enjoys all aspects of General Practice, fostering a welcoming environment where patients feel supported and empowered in managing their health journeys.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of medical services, with a strong focus on women's and children's health. Dr Lovesey has extensive expertise in sexual and reproductive health, offering specialised procedures such as Implanon and IUD insertions, as well as medical terminations for unwanted early pregnancy. Additionally, she is highly trained in ADHD assessment and treatment for both children and adults, providing neuro-affirming, holistic care. Her other areas of interest include family planning, antenatal care, mental health management, and routine skin checks.

Dr Lovesey completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney before pursuing her medical education. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle, in 2012. Following her graduation, she completed her hospital training in Wollongong, gaining valuable hands-on experience across various medical disciplines. Dr Lovesey is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
