Dr Matthew Holland

Dr Matthew Holland is a highly regarded Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Fertility Specialist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. As a father of six, Dr Holland brings a deeply empathetic, calm, and reassuring approach to his practice, understanding firsthand the unique joys and challenges of family building. He strongly believes in the importance of providing continuity of care, seamlessly guiding patients from the initial stages of fertility treatment through to pregnancy and childbirth.

In his clinical practice, Dr Holland manages a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological needs. His areas of expertise include both high-risk and low-risk obstetrics, general gynaecology, and the management of subfertility. He is highly skilled in delivering personalised fertility treatments, including in vitro fertilisation (IVF), ensuring that each patient receives a tailored management plan that aligns with their unique circumstances and goals.

Dr Holland began his academic journey at the University of Sydney, where he completed an Honours degree in physiotherapy. He then pursued his medical training at the University of Newcastle, graduating with an Honours degree in medicine. Following his medical studies, he undertook specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, culminating in his admission as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2013. Committed to advancing the field, Dr Holland also serves as a Conjoint Lecturer, actively participating in the education and mentoring of future medical professionals.
