Dr Mark Wilson

Dr Mark Wilson is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in fostering strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring that individuals of all ages receive personalised treatment in a supportive and welcoming environment. With a broad clinical focus, Dr Wilson delivers holistic primary care that addresses both acute medical needs and long-term health management.

Dr Wilson completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, qualifying in 1989. Committed to advancing his clinical knowledge, he later obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1995 and a certification in rural anaesthesia in 1996. He also completed a Master of International Public Health with honours at the University of Sydney in 2010. Dr Wilson is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Fellowship of Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP).

Throughout his career, Dr Wilson has developed a strong interest in rural medicine, medical education, and aged care. He has been actively involved in training the next generation of medical professionals, having held academic leadership roles in community-based health education. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of general practice services, including family planning, minor surgery, skin checks, and preventative health assessments. He is passionate about supporting the physical and emotional well-being of his patients at every stage of life.
