Dr Marina Malcolm

Dr Marina Malcolm is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Describing herself as a true generalist, she is committed to delivering holistic healthcare that addresses the diverse needs of individuals and families. Her empathetic approach ensures that patients feel supported and heard throughout their medical journeys, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Malcolm is particularly passionate about women's health, mental health, and public health. She has a strong focus on family and domestic violence advocacy, actively facilitating educational programmes to help other medical professionals recognise and respond to these critical issues. Her clinical expertise also encompasses preventative medicine, sexual health, travel medicine, and supportive care for gender-diverse individuals, ensuring inclusive and high-quality healthcare for all members of the community.

Dr Malcolm completed her medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBS (Hons)) in 1997. Demonstrating a strong commitment to the advancement of her profession, she has held significant leadership roles within the medical community. She has served as the Co-Deputy Chair of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Victoria Council and as the Co-Chair of the Women in General Practice Council, where she actively advocates for female General Practitioners and the enhancement of women's health services.
