Dr Marina Kamel

Dr Marina Kamel is a highly accomplished specialist periodontist. They obtained their Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Following this, Dr Kamel pursued further education and training in Australia, completing their Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) and specialist training in implant dentistry at the University of Sydney. Dr Kamel has been recognised with a membership from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS) in the Periodontics specialty. In addition, Dr Kamel holds a fellowship (FRACDS) in general dental practice.

Dr Kamel is actively involved in the dental community and holds memberships with several professional organisations. These include the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP), and the Australian Dental Association (ADA). Throughout their career, Dr Kamel has been recognised with multiple academic and research awards. Notably, they were awarded the prestigious FG Christensen medal for achieving the highest ranking in the primary RACDS examinations across Australasia.
