Dr Marie Paek

Dr Marie Paek is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who specialises in integrative and functional medicine. She approaches patient care with a holistic philosophy, viewing the human body as an interconnected system rather than a collection of isolated organs. By focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness, Dr Paek works collaboratively with her patients to restore balance and optimise long-term health. Her practice incorporates evidence-based conventional medicine alongside lifestyle interventions, nutritional support, stress reduction, and gentle, minimally invasive therapies.

Dr Paek completed her medical training at the University of New South Wales, where she graduated with a double degree: a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours, and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in sociology and philosophy. This unique educational foundation shaped her deep understanding of how social, emotional, and mental factors influence physical well-being. She holds a General Practice Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellowship with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (FACNEM). To further support her holistic approach, she has completed extensive professional training in mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy and is an Approved Prescriber of medical cannabis.
