Dr Margot Whitfeld

Dr Margot Whitfeld is a highly qualified and dedicated Consultant Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care for a wide range of skin conditions. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she specialises in general dermatology, with a particular clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of rosacea, including its underlying causes and aetiology. Dr Whitfeld is also widely recognised for her expertise in HIV-related skin conditions and global health dermatology, particularly in managing infectious skin diseases such as scabies.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Whitfeld is actively involved in medical education and research. She serves as an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, contributing to the training of future medical professionals. Her research endeavours have significantly advanced the understanding of tropical skin diseases and global health initiatives, particularly through her collaborative work on mass drug administration programmes to combat scabies in the Pacific region.
