Dr Margaret Cotter

Dr Margaret Cotter is a dedicated and highly compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, holistic care to her patients. Inspired by a family legacy of medical service, she believes deeply in the importance of a General Practitioner working closely within and being an active part of the community. Dr Cotter is known for her thorough, investigative approach and reassuring manner, ensuring that every patient feels listened to and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Cotter obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 1986. Committed to expanding her clinical expertise, she has undertaken extensive postgraduate training both in Australia and internationally. She is a qualified Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) and holds an Advanced Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine (ABAM).

In her general practice, Dr Cotter manages a broad spectrum of family medicine, with particular clinical interests in women's health, children's health, geriatrics, and preventative medicine. Alongside her general practice work, she has a strong focus on aviation medicine and aesthetic skin services. She provides specialised skin rejuvenation treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, medical-grade chemical peels, and laser therapies, aiming to deliver natural-looking results while prioritising patient safety and skin health.
