I found Dr Chen friendly and attentive in our first appointment but after that she was not as dedicated. His explanation of his management plan for my condition was very brief and unconvincing. He did not give me space to ask questions.

He answered all my questions. Probably should explain side effects and what to do later. I like him, tells it straight

Dr Chen has always been highly professional and is extremely knowledgeable. He always takes the time to explain my condition and treatment and acknowledges the impact that my illness has had on my life. He is friendly and down to earth and very caring.

Spent most of the time talking about another patients condition and how poorly the government was handling COVID. Conducted a test but didn’t explain what it was for or what it indicted. Said that my GP was correct on diagnosis and did briefly show me MRI results. Did contact hospital Registar to try and book in hospital procedure but spent more time talking about another patient. I was in pain, quite foggy due to my condition and like a lot of people didn’t think of everything to ask AND was not provided with anyway to follow or be able to ask questions. In fact he told the reception ‘no follow up required’. I have had more follow up from my GP and a separate hospital she contacted than the specialist who cost me $$.

Dr Luke Chen is the only professional to have diagnosed me. He's treated me with the utmost respect and care. So grateful I have found him.
