Dr Lisa Begg

Dr Lisa Begg is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Begg is one of a small group of specialists in Australia who have undertaken further training and become certified as a sub-specialist in maternal-fetal medicine. This area involves planning for and providing care during high-risk pregnancies. Dr Begg is particularly interested in stillbirth, severe intrauterine growth restriction, fetal abnormalities, and maternal medical conditions, such as lupus.

Dr Begg is passionate about working collaboratively to provide care for people with complex medical conditions. This includes working closely and communicating with other specialists. Dr Begg believes in upholding the highest standards of patient care, ensuring that each expecting mother receives individualised attention and comprehensive support throughout their pregnancy.

Dr Begg is an active member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Outside of work, Dr Begg enjoys spending time with their family.
