Dr Linda Wu

Dr Linda Wu is a highly dedicated Clinical Endocrinologist who provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she manages all aspects of general endocrinology. Dr Wu has a particular clinical interest in the management of type 1, type 2, and type 3c diabetes, as well as thyroid diseases, including thyroid cancer, and various autoimmune conditions. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, personalised treatment plans that empower her patients to effectively manage their health.

Dr Wu completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBS (Hons)) in 2014. She then undertook her physician and advanced training in endocrinology at leading teaching hospitals in Sydney. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence, she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Furthermore, Dr Wu completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) through the University of Sydney, where she investigated a novel form of autoimmune diabetes associated with cancer immunotherapy.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Wu is actively involved in medical education and research. She serves as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, sharing her expertise with the next generation of medical professionals. Her research into checkpoint inhibitor-associated autoimmune diabetes has earned prestigious recognition, including the President's Young Investigator Award at the annual Australasian Diabetes Congress. Dr Wu also holds appointments as a Staff Specialist at major public hospitals, where she contributes to specialised clinics, including high-risk foot services, and works collaboratively to improve patient outcomes.
