Dr Leo Rando is a highly qualified Consultant Endocrinologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. He specialises in the comprehensive management of endocrine and metabolic disorders, working closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans. Dr Rando is committed to delivering optimal clinical outcomes through a holistic and empathetic approach, ensuring that patients feel supported throughout their healthcare journey.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Rando is highly experienced in managing general endocrinology conditions. His expertise encompasses the treatment of diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal conditions, as well as bone and mineral disorders. Additionally, he has a strong clinical interest in gonadal and transgender health. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Rando has been actively involved in medical research, particularly in diabetic vascular disease, and has co-investigated multiple clinical trials to help advance the field of endocrinology.

Dr Rando graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne in 1997. He completed his advanced specialist training in endocrinology in 2004, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Throughout his career, he has also demonstrated a strong commitment to medical education, having served in key educational roles such as Clinical Sub-Dean and Director of Physician Training at major metropolitan teaching hospitals. He is an active member of the Australian Diabetes Society.
