Dr Lachlan Brennan

Dr Lachlan Brennan is a highly regarded Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, woman-centred care. With a calm, compassionate, and reassuring approach, he aims to ensure that every patient feels fully understood, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. Dr Brennan provides personalised, one-to-one pregnancy care and consults on a wide range of gynaecological concerns, tailoring his medical guidance to meet the unique needs of each individual.

His clinical expertise spans several key areas of women's health, with a particular focus on the management of complex pregnancies and supporting vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC). In addition to obstetric care, Dr Brennan is highly skilled in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, offering minimally invasive options for various gynaecological conditions. He also has extensive experience in gynaecological ultrasound and fertility care, helping patients navigate complex reproductive and fertility challenges with evidence-based treatments.

Dr Brennan completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with honours at the University of Melbourne in 2012, having also obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc). He undertook extensive clinical training, working for several years at a major women's hospital in Melbourne before completing his specialist training in Ballarat. Dr Brennan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and remains actively involved in professional education and training initiatives within his field.
