Dr Kim Thompson

Dr. Kim Thompson is a highly regarded Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a deep commitment to women's health care. She earned her primary medical degree from the University of Western Australia. Following this, Kim ventured into work and travel experiences before deciding to pursue her specialist training in Melbourne, Australia, through the renowned Mercy Hospital for Women.

During her training, Kim enriched her expertise by spending time in the United Kingdom, where she gained valuable obstetric and gynaecological experience. Upon her return to Melbourne, she resumed her work at the Mercy Hospital for Women, where she continues to serve as a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

Kim later established her private practice, which has since grown into a supportive group practice. Alongside her work at the Mercy Hospital, Kim practises both Obstetrics and Gynaecology privately, providing comprehensive care to her patients. She finds fulfilment in the collaborative environment of her group practice at Empower Obstetrics & Gynaecology and values the opportunity to contribute to the training of future specialists within the public hospital system.
