Dr Kulbir Hayer

Dr Kulbir Hayer is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to the Hope Island community. Originally from the United Kingdom, he relocated to Australia during his childhood and has long considered the Gold Coast his home. Dr Hayer is committed to delivering patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals and families receive personalised support to manage their health and well-being.

Dr Hayer obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2013. Prior to transitioning into general practice, he gained extensive clinical experience working as a Medical Officer at major regional hospitals. This foundational hospital-based training allowed him to develop a broad and robust understanding of various medical disciplines, which now informs his holistic approach to family medicine.

With a diverse range of clinical interests, Dr Hayer is well-equipped to support patients at all stages of life. He is particularly passionate about chronic disease management, diabetes care, and preventative health screenings designed to identify and mitigate health risks early. Additionally, his practice encompasses paediatric health, aged care, men's health, and women's health. Dr Hayer also possesses clinical experience in weight loss management and medicinal cannabis prescribing, allowing him to offer tailored treatment pathways to optimise patient outcomes.
