Dr Kuhendra Balakrishnan

Dr Kuhendra Balakrishnan is a highly dedicated, dual-trained Cardiologist and General Physician who also practises as a Cardiac Imaging Specialist. With a clinical approach centred on providing holistic and individualised care, he manages a comprehensive range of adult cardiovascular conditions. Dr Balakrishnan is committed to tailoring specialist cardiology treatments to meet the unique needs of patients, particularly those presenting with complex, co-existing medical conditions.

Dr Balakrishnan completed his medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008. He subsequently undertook advanced training in Cardiology and General Medicine, followed by a specialised fellowship in non-invasive cardiac imaging, focusing on advanced echocardiography and cardiac CT. In 2018, he achieved his professional qualification as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
