Dr Kuan-Chi Wang

Dr Kuan-Chi Wang is a highly qualified General Surgeon and Breast Surgeon who provides compassionate, patient-centred care. She specialises in the assessment, diagnosis, and surgical management of both benign and malignant breast diseases. With a strong commitment to delivering holistic care, Dr Wang focuses on treatment options that address the physical, mental, and psychosocial aspects of breast health, ensuring her patients feel supported throughout their medical journey.

Dr Wang completed her Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours at the University of Sydney in 2003, followed by her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the same institution in 2007. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, having completed her specialist surgical training in Australia. To further her expertise, she undertook advanced fellowship training in breast oncoplastic surgery at a renowned breast centre in Paris, France, where she refined her skills in state-of-the-art oncoplastic and reconstructive techniques.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Wang is dedicated to medical education and research. She serves as a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and a Lecturer for the Master of Advanced Breast Surgery programme at the University of Sydney, where she helps train the next generation of medical professionals. She is also an active contributor to peer-reviewed clinical research, with publications focusing on innovative techniques such as lipofilling and fat grafting in breast cancer treatment.
