Dr Kovi Levin

Dr Kovi Levin is a highly qualified and dedicated Consultant Respiratory and Sleep Physician who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of lung and sleep-related conditions. As a dual-trained Specialist, he focuses on delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care to manage both common and complex respiratory disorders. Dr Levin is committed to improving his patients' quality of life by addressing breathing difficulties and sleep disturbances with a compassionate and reassuring approach.

Dr Levin completed his medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2006. He subsequently undertook extensive specialist training in respiratory and sleep medicine, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). To remain at the forefront of his field, he actively participates in professional organisations, including serving on subcommittees for the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ).

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Levin specialises in the management of advanced and complex lung diseases. His areas of interest include advanced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung diseases, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary hypertension. He also possesses significant experience in occupational lung diseases, such as silicosis, and the clinical management of lung transplantation. In addition to complex respiratory medicine, Dr Levin is highly skilled in sleep medicine, addressing sleep-disordered breathing, respiratory failure associated with neuromuscular disorders, and general sleep health.
