Dr. Khalid Rasouli

Dr. Khalid Rasouli is a highly skilled Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centred care. He specialises in the investigation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary conditions. Adopting a holistic and multidisciplinary approach, Dr. Rasouli works closely with each patient to develop individualised treatment plans that address both immediate health concerns and long-term well-being.

Dr. Rasouli completed his post-graduate Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Sydney in 2014. Following his initial medical training, he pursued specialist advanced training in gastroenterology and hepatology, subsequently completing a dedicated fellowship focusing on inflammatory bowel disease and therapeutic endoscopy. He was awarded the title of Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2022. Additionally, he is fully certified by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) in diagnostic and therapeutic adult gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy.

With a strong commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Rasouli has a particular interest in bowel cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, and metabolic liver health. He is highly proficient in advanced endoscopic procedures, including capsule endoscopy, complex polypectomy, and endoscopic mucosal resection. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Rasouli is actively involved in clinical research, having published extensively in leading international medical journals, and he remains passionate about mentoring and training future medical professionals.
