Dr Ken Lu

Dr Ken Lu is a highly qualified Consultant and Non-Invasive Imaging Cardiologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred cardiovascular care. Specialising in advanced cardiac imaging and heart failure management, he focuses on delivering precise diagnoses and tailored treatment plans to improve patient outcomes. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, with a particular interest in valvular heart disease and the utilisation of non-invasive diagnostic techniques.

Dr Lu completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 2001. Committed to achieving the highest standards of clinical excellence, he went on to complete his specialist training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Cardiology in 2009. To further advance the field of cardiac medicine, he has also undertaken a PhD Research Higher Degree at the University of Melbourne, investigating the role of novel cardiac imaging modalities and biomarkers in heart failure.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Lu is actively involved in cardiovascular research and academic pursuits. He has held positions as a Locum Cardiologist and an Honorary Cardiology Research Fellow, contributing to the development of innovative diagnostic approaches. His dedication to research ensures that his patients benefit from the latest evidence-based advancements in Cardiology, particularly in the areas of echocardiography and advanced imaging.
