Dr Katrin Kosbab-Jackson

Dr Katrin Kosbab-Jackson is a highly qualified Consultant Endocrinologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She is dedicated to supporting her patients through clear communication, ensuring they are fully informed and empowered to manage their health with confidence. Her clinical approach is collaborative and reassuring, focusing on tailored treatment plans that address each individual's unique endocrine needs.

Dr Kosbab-Jackson obtained her medical degree (MD) from the J-W Goethe University Frankfurt/Main in Germany. After relocating to Australia, she undertook extensive postgraduate training and completed her advanced specialist training in Endocrinology at major teaching hospitals in Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

In her clinical practice, Dr Kosbab-Jackson manages a wide spectrum of endocrine and metabolic conditions. Her areas of expertise include the management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and pituitary and adrenal diseases. She also has a strong clinical interest in bone and calcium metabolism disorders, as well as male and female hormone imbalances. Additionally, she has contributed to medical literature regarding the metabolic and endocrine changes associated with eating disorders, highlighting her comprehensive understanding of complex endocrine health.
