Dr Kathryn Lowrie

Dr Kathryn Lowrie is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred healthcare to the local community. With a warm and reassuring approach, she supports individuals and families through all stages of life, ensuring that every patient receives personalised and comprehensive medical attention. Dr Lowrie believes in fostering strong doctor-patient relationships built on trust, empathy, and open communication.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Lowrie enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has developed a particular clinical focus on women's health and children's health, areas of medicine she is highly passionate about. Her interest in paediatric and maternal care is further enriched by her personal experiences as a mother, allowing her to offer highly empathetic, practical, and reassuring guidance to parents and families navigating various health journeys.

Dr Lowrie completed her medical training at Aberdeen University in Scotland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2010. Prior to specialising in family medicine, she gained extensive clinical experience working in emergency medicine across both Scotland and regional Australia. In 2017, she chose to focus her career on primary care, subsequently achieving her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.
