Dr Kate Kelso

Dr Kate Kelso is a General Practitioner with advanced training in fertility and women’s health, combining general practice with a specialist focus on reproductive medicine.

Dr Kelso holds a medical degree from the University of Newcastle. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010, and completed a Master’s in Reproductive Medicine in 2021. Alongside her clinical work, she also contributes as a medical editor at Australian Doctor, helping to keep her practice aligned with current evidence and developments in medicine.

Dr Kelso’s clinical focus includes fertility assessment and support, preconception counselling, antenatal and shared pregnancy care (including accreditation with services such as Royal North Shore Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Royal Hospital for Women), as well as broader women’s health and paediatric care.

Her approach is collaborative and reassuring, helping individuals and couples navigate fertility challenges, pregnancy planning, and reproductive health decisions with clear guidance and empathetic support.
