Dr Karthik Nath is a highly accomplished Clinical Haematologist who combines deep scientific expertise with a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. He is dedicated to supporting individuals living with a wide range of blood disorders, ensuring they feel fully informed and reassured at every stage of their treatment journey. His clinical expertise encompasses both malignant and non-malignant haematology, with a particular focus on complex blood cancers, stem cell transplantation, and innovative cellular immunotherapies. Dr Nath has a strong background in clinical practice and research aimed at advancing the field of haematology and enhancing patient outcomes. He remains actively involved in clinical trials and has published his research findings in leading international medical journals, reflecting his commitment to bringing cutting-edge treatments from the laboratory to the bedside.

Dr Nath completed his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at the University of Queensland. He went on to undertake specialist training, earning dual fellowships in Haematology and Haematopathology. Driven by a passion for scientific discovery, he also completed a PhD in Lymphoma Biology at the University of Queensland, supported by a prestigious national scholarship. To further refine his expertise, he completed advanced clinical and research fellowships, including an international fellowship in cancer immunotherapy at a world-renowned institution in New York, where he subsequently served as a Consultant Haematologist. He holds specialist certifications from Harvard Medical School and the European School of Oncology, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.
