In her clinical practice, Miss Methven focuses on a diverse range of medical areas, including paediatrics, early antenatal care, and mental health. She has a keen interest in women's health, offering expert guidance on reproductive health, menopause management, breast and pelvic health, and contraceptive services. Additionally, she is a qualified GP Anaesthetist, enabling her to provide essential anaesthetic services in theatre settings. Her expertise also extends to chronic disease management, comprehensive skin checks, and performing minor surgical procedures such as biopsies, wound suturing, and the removal of foreign bodies.

Miss Methven completed her medical degree at Deakin University, graduating in 2013. Following her graduation, she undertook her internship and residency training before embarking on specialised general practice training. In 2018, she completed her Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia qualification, which formally qualified her to work as a GP Anaesthetist. Miss Methven achieved fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2019, reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence and dedication to healthcare.
