Dr Kapil Sethim, a urological surgeon, specialises in the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat benign and malignant conditions of the kidney, prostate, and bladder. He also has expertise in laser surgery for enlarged prostate and stones and uses advanced laparoscopy and robotics for upper and lower urinary tract conditions.opy and robotics for upper and lower urinary tract conditions.

After qualifying in 2003, Dr Sethi became a Doctor of Medicine in 2015 for his research in kidney cancer. He was awarded a fellowship in 2018 and was the first Australasian-trained fellow at the Martini Klinik, a world-renowned centre for prostate cancer surgery. Dr Sethi also gained experience through other fellowships and is trained in keyhole stone surgery, laser enucleation of the prostate, advanced laparoscopy, and robotics.
Dr Sethi has an interest in research and achieved the Villis Marshall prize from the Urological Society of ANZ for best scientific research. He has written numerous research papers and has presented his work internationally. Dr Sethi has also spent time volunteering as a doctor for asylum seekers in Melbourne, who would otherwise have no access to medical care.
Dr Sethi sees patients at Shepparton Private Hospital and Goulburn Valley Health. He also consults at St Vincent's Health and Western Health, Epworth Freemasons, St. Vincent's Private, John Fawkner, Epping Private, and Benalla Health. He treats patients individualistically and ensures patients are fully informed and part of the decision-making process.
