Dr Julienne Agnew

Dr Julienne Agnew is a highly qualified Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon who provides comprehensive care in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. Based in Spring Hill, she is dedicated to delivering personalised, patient-focused treatment for both adult and paediatric patients. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Agnew ensures that each patient receives the highest standard of medical and surgical care tailored to their unique needs.

Dr Agnew completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at the University of Queensland. She subsequently obtained her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1992. To further refine her expertise, she undertook advanced post-fellowship training in London, Glasgow, and Brisbane, specialising in head and neck surgery, paediatric surgery, and rhinology. Dr Agnew is an active member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Society, the Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Society, and the Australia and New Zealand Rhinologic Society.

As a versatile Specialist, Dr Agnew has a broad range of clinical interests encompassing paediatric and adult conditions. Her sub-specialty areas include paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat surgery, thyroid and parotid surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, and nasal surgery. She is highly skilled in performing complex procedures such as sinus surgery, myringoplasty, and tonsillectomy, helping patients find relief from chronic sinus infections, eardrum perforations, and breathing difficulties.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Agnew is deeply committed to medical education and professional standards. She has served as a Senior Examiner in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, a role she has held for many years. She also contributes to the training of future Specialists as a Supervisor of Registrar training, sharing her extensive knowledge and clinical expertise with the next generation of Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeons.
