About Dr Jonathan Dick
Dr Jonathan Dick is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in foot, ankle, hip, and knee surgery, including joint replacements. He is dedicated to providing personalised care, ensuring that each patient fully understands their treatment and recovery plan with a down-to-earth and tailored approach.
Since beginning his medical practice at Nambour General Hospital in 2009, Dr Dick has helped restore the mobility and health of hundreds of patients with lower limb conditions. He continues to support the Sunshine Coast community with regular operating sessions at Buderim Private Hospital and Nambour Selangor Private Hospital. He is currently practising at Orthopaedics Queensland, where he provides expert surgical care for a range of orthopaedic conditions.
Dr Dick specialises in a variety of lower limb surgeries, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroscopy, ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstructions, foot and ankle surgery, and forefoot procedures such as bunion correction and treatment of lesser toe deformities and arthritis. He also has expertise in managing midfoot and hindfoot pathology, including arthritis, tendon, and ligament conditions, and performs minimally invasive bunion and foot surgery.
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Dr Dick travelled abroad to study medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. After returning to Queensland, he completed advanced training with the Australian Orthopaedic Association and obtained his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009.
