Dr Jonathan Ajzner

Dr Jonathan Ajzner is a dedicated and compassionate Paediatrician and Children's Doctor who provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents. He believes that every child deserves the highest standard of medical attention to grow, thrive, and reach their full physical and emotional potential. Known for his reassuring and empathetic approach, Dr Ajzner focuses on demystifying complex medical and developmental issues, working closely with families to deliver patient-centred care.

Dr Ajzner completed his medical degree at Monash University, qualifying in 2005. He subsequently undertook extensive specialist training in Paediatrics across several major paediatric hospitals in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as regional healthcare settings. During his postgraduate training, he gained specialised experience in neonatal intensive care, special care nurseries, community health, adolescent medicine, child psychiatry, emergency medicine, and respiratory medicine. He has also served as a Clinical Fellow in Cystic Fibrosis and Respiratory Medicine, a Clinical Fellow in Forensic Paediatric Medicine, and an Associate Lecturer. Dr Ajzner is an active member of the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatric Society of Australasia.

In his clinical practice, Dr Ajzner manages a broad spectrum of general paediatric conditions, ranging from acute illnesses to chronic health concerns. He has a particular interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics, assisting families with the assessment and management of conditions such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays. Additionally, he provides essential newborn services, including six-week checks and support for unsettled infants experiencing feeding or sleeping difficulties. To ensure holistic support, Dr Ajzner collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary network of allied health professionals, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Educators.
