Dr John Stanford

Dr John Stanford is a highly dedicated and experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare. With a strong commitment to patient-centred care, he focuses on delivering personalised medical support to individuals and families. His clinical approach is characterised by a reassuring and professional manner, ensuring that patients feel supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Throughout his career, Dr Stanford has developed a diverse range of clinical interests within family medicine. He is particularly passionate about Paediatrics, Women's Health, and the proactive management of chronic diseases. His practice encompasses a wide array of essential treatments and procedures, including immunisations, vaccinations, antenatal care, Pap smears, and Implanon insertion and removal. In addition to his clinical work, he is deeply committed to medical education, actively teaching and mentoring medical students and registrars undertaking advanced training.

Dr Stanford graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of New South Wales. Following his university studies, he completed a comprehensive General Practice training programme and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1998. Recognised for his long-standing contribution to the medical community, he has been honoured with Life Membership of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Additionally, he is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
