Mr John Politis

Mr John Politis is a highly dedicated Respiratory and Sleep Physician who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of lung diseases and sleep disorders. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, Mr Politis focuses on educating his patients about their conditions, empowering them to feel confident and active in managing their own health and well-being.

Mr Politis completed his Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne in 2010, followed by his Doctor of Medicine at the same institution in 2014. He then undertook his Advanced Training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, gaining extensive clinical experience across major tertiary health services. In 2022, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Committed to advancing medical knowledge, Mr Politis is also actively involved in clinical research and is currently undertaking a PhD focusing on severe asthma.

In his clinical practice, Mr Politis has a particular interest in managing complex airways diseases, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He is also highly skilled in the investigation of lung lesions and the management of various sleep disorders. By combining evidence-based medicine with a supportive, reassuring manner, he ensures that each patient receives an individualised treatment plan tailored to their unique health needs.
