Dr John Newman

Dr John Newman is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, family-centred care. With a long-standing career in general medicine, he supports patients of all ages and backgrounds, focusing on holistic and preventative health. Dr Newman believes in building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Throughout his career, Dr Newman has developed a broad range of clinical interests. He is particularly passionate about family-centred general practice and regularly provides dedicated aged care services. In addition to managing chronic conditions and general health concerns, he is skilled in performing minor skin procedures. Dr Newman also plays an active role in medical education, serving as a supervisor to help guide and train the next generation of General Practitioners.

Dr Newman obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and completed his hospital training in Victoria before undertaking his General Practice training across various regional towns. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). As a qualified registrar supervisor, he remains actively involved with professional training bodies, ensuring his clinical practice aligns with the highest standards of modern medicine.
