Dr Jodie Parker

Dr Jodie Parker is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. She strongly believes in the importance of working collaboratively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes. With a warm and reassuring approach, Dr Parker supports individuals through all stages of their health journeys, ensuring they feel heard and well cared for.

Dr Parker completed her medical education through both the University of New England and the University of Newcastle, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours. Demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, she attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners at the beginning of 2017. She maintains active professional membership with the college, continuously updating her skills to provide evidence-based medical care.

Throughout her career in general practice, Dr Parker has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about children and adolescent health, as well as all aspects of women's health. Her expertise includes providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers through pregnancy shared care. Additionally, she is accredited to perform specific clinical procedures, such as the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants, and is authorised to act as an ADHD Medication Continuation Prescriber.
